Evangelina (Vangie) Chacon, Center Coordinator   I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, attended Zavala Elementary School, then graduated from Jefferson High School. I am a happy mom and grandma with four daughters and eight grandchildren. Before retiring, I worked for 47 years with Hunt Companies, and my last position with the company was as an Accounting Associate. Since my retirement, I have volunteered with Centro Mujeres de la Esperanza. When I was told that the center offers classes which teach woman different skills to become self sufficient and to provide their households with extra income, I wanted to contribute in any way that I could. I have seen that the women who attend the center have a more positive attitude and are happier individuals.
